Why subscribe?

If you are interested in the world of crime, and want to know what science can tell us about it, you’re going to like this Substack.

Why this?

I’ve been doing research (occasionally) and teaching students (very often) in this area for decades. I know how exciting the subject can be, and want to share it with you.

What happens?

The Substack is based around the weekly newsletter, but let’s encourage discussion! If you want to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

This is what happens: every Wednesday you’ll receive a newsletter about something interesting in the worlds of Crime, Psychology, or both. It may be to do with this week’s news, or offender profiling, witchcraft, or maybe preparing for a court appearance. In any case, we’ll see what the world of psychology has to say about it.

Every Monday you’ll receive a shorter note, telling you what to expect that week; making some links to items in the news; and five interesting things about some topic in the world of crime and psychology.

You’ll also get more-or-less regular updates to my ongoing Crime Dictionary, which is fun to make and, I hope, fun to read.

Please subscribe, read, and get involved!
